SRA will prepare a monthly report on security incidents leading to the 2024 US elections. This report will focus on events, protests, regional incidents, and critical dates.
The report will switch to a biweekly format from September through November to acknowledge the increasingly complex domestic threat environment.
Pride Month Global Alert
On May 17, the US State Department issued a global security advisory urging all travelers to exercise increased caution (Level 2 alert) due to the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations, and violence targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people, and LGBTQ+ related events. The alert comes ahead of Pride Month, mainly celebrated in June.
